Carl Mercier to lead global sales strategy for atmospheric and defense remote sensing instruments company
Lévis, September 6, 2020 – LR Tech Inc., a leader in infrared remote sensing solutions for industrial, atmospheric, and environmental emissions monitoring, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carl Mercier as Chief Executive Officer. Carl Mercier will lead the deployment of a global sales strategy, expand the company product portfolio, and recruit local talents to ensure the company's success and sustainability.
Carl Mercier comes to LR Tech from the infrared spectrometer solutions industry and brings a wealth of managerial and executive experience to his role as CEO. Past positions include a 16-year tenure at ABB, formerly Bomem, an 11-year term as VP Sales and Marketing at Olympus NDT, formerly RD/Tech. He also worked at Creaform as VP Sales for Asia-Pacific, where he managed a team of 60 people and led the company's Asia-Pacific region high-growth strategy for eight years. Over the past two years, he worked as a full-time consultant to develop and deploy international markets strategy for several Québec SME.

Carl Mercier holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Laval University. He also has extensive technical experience in analytical instrumentation.
