SpIRS (Spatially-resolved InfraRed Spectrometer) is a new product, developed as per customer’s specifications, and now ready for sales to a broader audience.
LR Tech’s team is very proud of this achievement. Congratulations to the development team and thanks to DRDC for their long-term trust and collaboration.
What is SpIRS?
The Spatially resolved InfraRed Spectrometer is a hyperspectral system which benefits from LR Tech’s expertise acquired over the years. It constitutes a more compact and yet easier to use solution, thanks to our software interface. Its optimization for today’s field demands has already pleased our customers.
SpIRS interferometer displays an optimized modulation efficiency in the 1.47 μm to 12.2 μm spectral range. The detector modules are based on 8x8 focal plane arrays (FPA).
SpIRS instrument is designed for fast-event applications requiring both high temporal and spectral resolution and improved radiometric accuracy.
SpIRS can support up to 2 focal plane array modules. It can acquire simultaneously, into a snapshot mode, the 64 pixels of each FPA module. Each frame is precisely timed-tagged (up to 10 μsec precision) and stored into the built-in database.
SpIRS offers a series of accessories to cover different spectral ranges and to adapt to various input optics.
